Independence launched, July 4th, 2026 to celebrate a milestone unlike any other, the 250th anniversary of the United States.
The idea behind the brand is simple: independence is more than a date in history. It is a mindset. It represents the freedom to build something of your own, follow your own path, and enjoy the moments that make life worth celebrating.
To bring that vision to life, Independence was created at the Arnold André factory in the Dominican Republic, a name with more than 200 years of international recognition and heritage in the tobacco industry. The company’s long history is rooted in generations of experience, and a commitment to premium tobacco.
That heritage made Arnold André the right partner to create a cigar worthy of this occasion.
With Independence, United Cigars set out to create something that could stand on its own while honoring the history that inspired it. From the name and presentation to the cigar itself, every element was developed around the character of the American spirit; bold, independent, and unapologetically its own.
The Independence line is a limited celebration of American history, bringing together an important American milestone with more than two centuries of European tobacco heritage and Dominican cigar-making expertise.

Independence delivers a full-bodied cigar experience with an approachable character from the first draw. At its core is a Mexican Habano wrapper, paired with an HVA Dominican binder and a powerful blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan ligero tobaccos.
The result is a cigar that brings substantial strength without overwhelming the palate. Light baking spices and bright citrus notes lead the experience, creating a balance between warmth, richness, and freshness as the cigar progresses.
